Aim

DFSI would like to encourage its members to be aware of the best practices in the field by promoting the travel of the selected members to select centres of excellence in the field within the country.

About the Fellowship

1. There shall be two fellowship grants per Financial year. An amount of Rs 75000/- shall be provided per grant.
2. The candidate has to spend a minimum of 30 days in a centre(s) recognized by the DFSI for the fellowship. He can use it also to spend time in more centres if he/she wishes but the total time spent as part of the fellowship must be 30 days excluding travel. The total fund provided will be Rs 75,000 per candidate
3. The grant amount can be used by the fellow for his travel, boarding and lodging. If the expenses exceed the fellowship amount, it has to be borne by the candidate.
4. The candidate must present a written report about his experience of the fellowship within a month of finishing the fellowship.
5. The candidate must attend the next Annual DFSICON and make a presentation on his experiences during the fellowship and the fellowship certificate will be given during the inaugural ceremony.

Eligibility criteria

1. The applicant must be a continuous full member of DFSI and must have completed at least 5 years of continuous membership with attendance in at least 2 conferences conducted by DFSI as on the date of application.
2. The applicant should not be a current member of the executive committee of DFSI.
3. The applicant should not have availed any DFSI sponsored fellowship anytime earlier.

Application Process

1. Please fill up the application forms on the DFSI website For Application form click here
2. Please keep a soft copy of the following ready for submission
   • A detailed Curriculum Vitae mentioning the Trainings, Service particulars, Publications and Presentations.
   • Soft copies of Aadhar and PAN cards
   • Copy of DFSI membership certificate
   • Copy of participation certificates for DFSICON (minimum two years)
   • Passport sized photograph.
3. Please provide names of two referees who should be members of DFSI.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and final candidates shall be selected.
5. Date and time of interview will be announced to applicants by email.
6. The decision of the Executive Committee will be final regarding the selection of candidates.
7. Announcement of selected candidates is made at the time of the upcoming annual DFSICON and the fellow has to complete the fellowship at least 3 months before the next annual DFSICON.
